Scheduling Your Session


To get your session set up, you can contact me by facebook, E-mail, or phone. Once we've figured out what type of session you are wanting and if you want to move forward the preferred form of communication to get you booked would be through E-mail,  Where we can then move on to the next step which would be the session fee which is required to reserve your day and time, the Questionnaire to get more about what you are looking for in your session
 

Where are sessions held 

All sessions have the option of being held at an outdoor location near you or at my in home studio located in Avoca, NE. Which is located just 32 miles east of Lincoln or 41 miles south of Omaha.

Do you travel for


I travel 40 miles from my location Avoca, Nebraska at no extra charge.  Anything past my 40 mile coverage does cost an additional fee. Which you can ask me more about if you our outside of my free coverage range.

 

Do you have a studio? Do you have backdrops? Do you have props?

YES!!! I have an in home studio where I keep a wonderful variety of backdrops.  And a large variety of props ranging from buckets & baskets to flowers, old fashioned children trikes, kids rocking chair,  adult chairs, and so much more. We even have a small variety at this time of  wraps & outfits for newborn sessions which we are slowly expanding. 

 

If you want to do an outside session that is not a problem and if you want to add a prop to your outdoor session just let me know as most of my props are used both inside and out. For all outside sessions if your not quit sure where you want to do them just let me know. As I have several suggestions for outdoor locations of which to choose from; such as, a park, rustic location, open fields, historic scenery, and romantic scenery or at a location of your choosing

 

Can my pets be in my photos?

 

YES!!! Pets are free. So if you feel the need to bring your furry little friend to a photo shoot.

Go for it.....

I am an animal lover myself; right now we currently have a kitten, and a two lizards. And I know how it is when your family pet becomes part of the family. So again if you have a furry little friend who is a part of your family don’t be afraid to bring them with you. Though I can not take any photos of you and your furry animals in my in home studio. 

 


Don’t know what to wear?

 

No problem.... here are a few helpful tips to help you choose what to wear or not to wear.

When dressing for a photo shoot especially family photo shoot with lots of people. It’s best to try and coordinate your outfits and to avoid clothing with large logos or wording.  This distracts the focus of the photograph on the person to the clothing they are wearing.  Solid colors work very well and denim or khaki’s and even jeans are excellent choices for outdoor photos.

Deposits and reserved time?

All sessions require a deposit to reserve the time & date of your session. Which is due at the time of booking and are non-refundable. If a session needs to be rescheduled due to weather or emergency, the deposit will just simply be carried forward. And for this reason, all deposits are non-refundable even if the date is changed or becomes canceled for any reason except for reason explained under refunds. 

What I need to know the day of the session?

Make sure to be dressed in your first outfit, and arrive on time to the chosen location. If you are late, time will be taken from your session or charged for extra time. Friends and family are welcome, so long as they do not interfere with the photographer and the photography taking place. Pictures with friends or family are not permitted unless it has been discussed previously with the approval of the photographer.

Need to Cancel or change your appointment time?

 
We all know how it is having such a busy schedule and that things do come up without warning, or you have a family emergency. But if you need to cancel or change your appointment time please give me at least a 48 hour notice. If you happen to have a family emergency which we all know happens and cannot cancel or change your appointment with in 48 hour. Then please do your best to let me know as soon as possible so we can get things taken care of for you. 

What is a No Shows? What happens if I do a No Show?

A no show is when you don't show up to your session and you gave me no notice what so ever that you were not gonna be there or that your were rescheduling. If this happens I will no longer book you. My time is valuable and when you cancel an appointment at the last minute or don't show up you are wasting my valuable time. And time I could have spent trying to book other clients or time I could have spent with my family. If you are going to be more than 5 minutes late please call or text me, so I know you are coming and not consider you a no show.
